Local Minister Denis Naughten met with a group of INMO nurses from Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon, outside Leinster House this week, along with INMO General Secretary Liam Doran.

The INMO, SIPTU and members of the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA) were staging a protest seeking the restoration of incremental credit for nurses and midwives who graduated between 2011 and 2015. Minister Naughten offered his support to the nurses ahead of their scheduled meeting with the Minister for Health Simon Harris TD later that day.
