Local TD Denis Naughten is calling on the Agriculture Minister to ensure that Roscommon farmers have the opportunity to apply under the upcoming GLAS environmental scheme.

“As the scheme is currently structured it will be difficult for farmers who don’t have SAC designated lands to access the scheme, and this would exclude thousands of farmers throughout County Roscommon,” explained Denis Naughten.
