Would you like to know more about the practical aspects of switching to green heat for your business?
On Wednesday May 23, Teagasc and IBEC are hosting a workshop on the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat.
The scheme, announced by Minister Naughten in November 2017, will offer commercial and industrial heat users an exciting opportunity to avail of financial aid to reduce their carbon emissions. The SEAI have been tasked with rolling out the scheme, which will focus on giving financial incentives to convert to renewable heating systems.
Wednesday’s event, titled ‘The Practical aspects of Switching to Green Heat’, is run through the AgriForValor EU project of which Teagasc is a partner. This workshop is aimed at the commercial sector, energy managers, procurement officers and environmental managers, and is designed to provide information around the opportunities for companies through the SSRH.
An expert panel of industry specialists will discuss the SSRH, the technologies available and what steps heat users can take to avail of the support. There will also be opportunities to meet suppliers of renewable heating systems who will be more than willing to discuss your own business and how you could convert to renewable heating.
The workshop takes place on Wednesday May 23 at the Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ashtown, Dublin 15.
