While science is playing an ever-increasing role in our lives, be it at home, work or in our leisure activities, there remains a poor public awareness of science and its opportunities for Ireland, our economy, and our people.
The Dáil must be a forum to bring facts on scientific developments into the public domain and to improve the public’s understanding of some complex areas including the issues such as health data ownership and climate science.
