Local TD Denis Naughten has received written confirmation from Roscommon County Council that it is to provide a disabled parking bay for people accessing the post office on Barrack Street in Castlerea.

Denis Naughten has been in contact with the County Council area office after he was contacted by a number of local people using the post office who require disabled parking facilities.

“The Council has investigated a number of options and expects to have the new parking bay operational before Easter, which will be of huge assistance to the many older people and those with a disability using the post office and adjoining shop,” concluded Denis Naughten.
